Most educators would agree that a lot has changed in relation to teacher instruction and pedagogy since they were at school. There will be differing opinions on what 'changes' have worked best but were there will be general agreement that the increased emphasis on research and evidence of what works has been a positive development. We now know more than we ever have about what happens in the brain when we learn, how memory works and how, based on this science of learning, we can help students embrace and engage with learning in a new and more empowering way.
In this module teachers will be presented with the latest evidence relating to the science of learning and they will have the opportunity to investiagte how this theory can be applied in their specific context.
